So I'm kind of addicted to a good story. I've been known to get very little sleep and ignore most of my responsibilities to keep reading. Sometimes the story is just interesting enough to keep me reading but is easy enough to put down. It could take me 3 days or 3 years to finish. I don't really care. Sometimes the story is so interesting you pick it up to read a paragraph while your very slow laptop loads the page. Yesterday I finished reading a book that was easy to put down. Today I started one I can't stop picking up. I see a few very unproductive days in my future.
Are there books you just can't put down? What types of stories call to you at 2am?
The book I had to force myself to close last week is called Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. What was so maddening is that I only had 30 pages or so left, but it was midnight and I had work the next day and it was just annoying to have to be a grown up and go to bed.
